Love is enough: though the world be a-waning,
And the woods have no voice but the voice of complaining,
Though the skies be too dark for dim eyes to discover
The gold-cups and daisies fair blooming there under,
Though the hills be held shadows, and the sea a dark wonder,
And this day draw a veil over all deeds passed over,
Yet their hands shall not tremble, their feet shall not falter:
The void shall not weary, the fear shall not alter
These lips and these eyes of the loved and the lover.

// Tuesday, March 21

the march holidays were put to good use in a charitable sense.
went to jakarta with a few friends to help out kids who are too poor to study and have very minimal education.
we went to the city slumps, tiny classrooms, subsidised tuition centres etc..
all the kids were so adorable!
and they were so eager to learn, unlike singapore kids who take their education for granted.
it is our fortune to be educated and learned; to have compulsory education until Primary 6.
we should count our lucky stars.
but anyway, it was a pity we only get to stay around 2 hours in each place.
but at least we went to quite a number of schools.
although i feel we didn't really make a difference to each child's learning process
('cos we were there to entartain them most of the time and not educate them)
it was still an insightful and fulfilling trip i would say.
i'm glad i got to witness the other side of the world.

so anyway, back i am in school..
and yes i got back my results.
C for math,
E for physics
and yes F for econs. (my first F ever in my life.. )
just like wad i expected yes?
oh wells.. at least i was mentally prepared for it.
oh! and i'm in econs remedial. haha!
it's about time i need more help. but it'll just add on to my mountainous pile of homework.
wad a dread..

however! something really happy happened yesterday!
our dear friend sabrina wee yue wen turned 18 on the 20th of march!
2nd one in our little group of friends.. :)
we had a conference call at 12 midnight, all 6 of us.
yes! sarah included. :) aaalll the way from mmmmm long islands. :D (i bet you think i'd say mexico! ok.. just being lame..)
turning 18 is like crossing over to become an adult.
nothing's illegal anymore.
ooohhh.. can't wait to turn 18 myself.
yes. soon soon. very soon.. :)

oh goodness.. speaking of soon..
danceworks is NEXT saturday. freak out.
i didn't know it was THAT soon.
i got a shock when i was looking through my diary, and the list of upcoming events.
goodness gracious me.
intensive training, here i come..
dance is having morning run every tuesday and thursday!
but i guess it's good for us.
but mass pe and morning run..?
my body better be toner or else i'd just faint and die..

alright, i better get down to doing my moutainous pile of homework..
sigh..

ciao.
